Watch this video first--it walks through the first 4 problems on page 2 of the notes.
Today, we discussed how to solve word problems. One of the key things we discussed was to put an answer down right away after you read a problem and then simply fill in an answer when you 'do the math.'
This lesson looked at the different structures for solving linear equations. We saw that there are usually 1, 0 or infinitely many solutions to many linear equations.
In this lesson, we solved problems that involved word problems and angle measurements.
this is the PDF for the lesson we did on Wednesday on solving multistep equations that involve distribution.
This contains page 3 and the independent practice on page 4.
This is the first half of the lesson on solving equations that involves distribution. This is another MULTISTEP equation, and these can be quite challenging.
Sorry, no videos with this lesson today...but they'll be back tomorrow. This lesson introduced students to more difficult equations...those with variables on BOTH sides of the equal sign.
This is the PDF of the notes we took in class to support the videos that covered the distributive property.
